Property & Lifestyle is published by [OPERATING ENTITY TO BE CONFIRMED]. That entity is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This line must be completed before the site accepts a single enquiry.

If you have a question about anything here, email hello@propertyandlifestyle.com and a person will answer it.

When you submit an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, and — if you give them — your phone number, business name and whatever you write in the message.

When you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your email address, your name if you give it, and which page you subscribed from.

When you list a business in the directory we collect the details you enter for that listing, which are published by design.

Our server keeps standard access logs. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics that profile you across other websites.

To reply to your enquiry and to manage any booking that follows from it. The lawful basis is performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us.

To send the newsletter you asked for. The lawful basis is consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

To publish your directory listing and keep it accurate. The lawful basis is performance of a contract.

To meet our legal and accounting obligations, where the lawful basis is legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not pass your details to another member, advertiser or partner without you asking us to make that introduction.

We do not use enquiry data to add you to the newsletter. Those are separate, and subscribing is always a deliberate action on your part.

Enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact with us, then deleted.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we retain only the record needed to make sure we do not email you again.

Records we are required to keep for accounting purposes are kept for the period the law requires, currently six years.

Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes.

We disclose personal data to authorities only where we are legally required to.

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. You can also ask for it in a portable format.

Email hello@propertyandlifestyle.com and we will respond within one month. You will not be charged, and we will not ask you why.

If you are not happy with how we have handled a request you can complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner, or to your own national data protection authority.

This site sets a session cookie for administrators who log in to the content management system. It sets no advertising or profiling cookies, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner.
