Terms & Conditions

These terms apply between you and [OPERATING ENTITY TO BE CONFIRMED], publisher of Property & Lifestyle. This line must be completed before launch.

By booking advertising or sponsorship, publishing a directory listing or attending one of our events, you agree to them.

A booking is confirmed when we have accepted it in writing and, where payment is due in advance, when that payment has cleared.

Positions described as exclusive are sold once per issue and allocated in the order bookings are confirmed.

Where a specific position is not part of what you have bought, placement within the issue is at the editor's discretion.

Artwork must reach us by the deadline confirmed at the point of booking, which is normally two weeks before the issue goes to press.

If artwork is late, we may run the most recent artwork we hold for you, or hold the space and carry the booking to the following issue. Either way the booking remains payable.

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything in the artwork you supply, and that it complies with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising. You indemnify us against claims arising from artwork you supplied.

We may decline or require changes to artwork that is unlawful, misleading, or that we reasonably consider unsuitable for the publication.

Bookings may be moved to a later issue at no charge up to the artwork deadline.

Cancellations made after the artwork deadline remain payable in full, because the issue has by that point been laid out around the space.

We may cancel a booking and refund it in full if the issue does not go to press for reasons outside our control.

Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Discounts applied for a series assume the full series runs. If a series is cut short, the rate reverts to the standard rate for the issues already published and the difference becomes payable.

Standard directory listings are free and are not time-limited. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your listing.

We may edit or remove a listing that is inaccurate, unlawful or misleading, and will tell you when we do.

Preferred status is awarded against published criteria, is reviewed annually, and may be withdrawn if the criteria are no longer met.

Editorial is published at our discretion. Submitting a pitch or a draft does not oblige us to publish it.

We edit for length, clarity and house style. Where we make substantive changes we will send you the edited version before publication.

Sponsored features are labelled as sponsored. We do not publish paid content unmarked.

We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Otherwise, our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.

We do not guarantee any particular level of response, enquiries or sales from advertising. Nothing on this site should be read as such a guarantee.

These terms are governed by the law of the Isle of Man, and the courts of the Isle of Man have exclusive jurisdiction.
